Water : In the spring and summer, water your orchid twice a week. In the winter, water your orchid once a week.

I like to water orchids like succulents. Submerge the pot in 3 inches of warm water (more if your pot is larger) and let it soak for a good 10 minutes. Then, drain the water and let your orchid drain any excess water.

Sunlight: Indirect sunlight, yellowing leaves is an indicator of direct light

Fertilize : Fertilize once every 2 weeks in spring and summer and once a month in winters

Catasetum Penang Waltz Orchid

Light : Minimum of 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. The best spot is a south-facing window. 

Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist to ensure the plant can power its vigorous growth. During the winter months, you can allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings. Use distilled water or allow your tap water to sit out overnight before using it to water your Strelitzia.

Temperature - 18 to 29 C

The Bird of Paradise plant is toxic to both cats and dogs if consumed.

Light: Bright light, especially during the summer growing season. Full sun is preferable in the summer, with as much light as you can give during the winter. 

Water: Keep the plants moist at all times during the growing season, and you might have to water larger plants twice a day in heat. During winter, reduce watering but don’t let them dry out. 

Temperature: Warm in summer (household temperatures are fine) and colder in winter months (down to 50˚F at night). They are generally hardy, and even if they die back to the soil, they will likely recover next spring. 

Soil: A rich, fast-draining mix is ideal. 

Fertilizer: Fertilize adequately during the growing season, with controlled-release fertilizer and liquid fertilizer.

Watering - Water thoroughly until the water runs from the bottom drain holes.
Temperature - 15-32°C

The best thing you can do for your anthurium to promote blooming is making sure you are meeting its basic needs for healthy growth indoors. This includes:

Growing the anthurium in fertile soil that drains well.
Using a container that has bottom drainage.
Watering when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch.
Ensure your anthurium is getting sufficient humidity.
Fertilizing every other month with a houseplant fertilizer high in phosphorus and applying at half strength.
Placing the anthurium in an area that receives bright to medium levels of indirect light during the day.

Temperature: 18 to 27 °C

Watering: Water once the top half of the soil is dry. Avoid overwatering.

Size: 8-12 inches in height (20-30 cm)

Soil: Lightweight well-draining soil. Half potting soil, half coarse sand or perlite is ideal.

Container: Avoid excessively large pots. Ensure good drainage.

Fertilizing: Very little fertilizer needed. Apply fertilizer about twice a year.

Humidity: Normal indoor humidity levels are fine. Flaming Katy plants do well at a range of humidity levels.

Propagation: Can be propagated easily with stem or leaf cuttings.
