Black Forest - Classic

**Ingredients**:

1. All purpose flour 1.5 cup
2. Baking Powder 1.5 teaspoon
3. Baking soda 0.5 teaspoon
4. Milk powder 4 tablespoon
5. Cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
6. Butter 1 cup
7. Milk 1 cup
8. Vinegar 2 teaspoon
9. Saffron
0. Rasmalai
1. Pistachios sliced (garnish)
2. Dry rose petals (garnish)
3. Cake frosting (decoration)
4. Sugar 1 cup

**Recipe**:

1. Take hot milk, add butter and mix it.
2. Add cardamom powder and few strands for saffron to the mixture. Mix properly.
3. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, and sugar in the mixture.
4. Do not over mix, just fold.
5. Add vinegar. Mix it for 10-15 seconds.
6. Pour the mixture in the cake mold.
7. Put it in preheated oven at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
8. Once the cake is baked, use cake cutter to slice it into three equal layers.
9. Add Rasmalai milk, Rasmalai pieces, and frosting between each layer.
0. Cover the entire cake with frosting, and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
1. Decorate with Rasmalai pieces on the top.
2. Garnish it with sliced pistachios, dry rose petals, and saffron.

The red velvet cake seems to have been born in the 1930s in the United States. The name says it all: if done well, it is really soft and velvety; the red derives from the chemical reaction between vinegar and cocoa, which are not felt to the taste but serve to give body to the cake.

Here's how we prepare your favorite Kitkat cake

Kit  Kat Cake with M&M's is a super simple birthday cake,  that looks absolutely gorgeous and is sure to make an impression!

​

### Ingredients

#### Measuring cup used, 1 Cup = 250 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml, Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.

#### For the chocolate cake base

- 3 cups all-purpose flour, {Spooned and leveled}
- 1/3 cup +1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp instant coffee powder, optional
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cup water, room temperature

#### For the design

- 5 packs of (3 oz) Kit Kat bars (king size), about 40 Kit Kat bars
- 10.53  oz bag of M&M's, you may even add more, but this is the minimum you will need to cover the cake
