Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour 1.5 cup
  2. Baking Powder 1.5 teaspoon
  3. Baking soda 0.5 teaspoon
  4. Milk powder 4 tablespoon
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
  6. Butter 1 cup
  7. Milk 1 cup
  8. Vinegar 2 teaspoon
  9. Saffron
  10. Rasmalai
  11. Pistachios sliced (garnish)
  12. Dry rose petals (garnish)
  13. Cake frosting (decoration)
  14. Sugar 1 cup

Recipe:

  1. Take hot milk, add butter and mix it.
  2. Add cardamom powder and few strands for saffron to the mixture. Mix properly.
  3. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, and sugar in the mixture.
  4. Do not over mix, just fold.
  5. Add vinegar. Mix it for 10-15 seconds.
  6. Pour the mixture in the cake mold.
  7. Put it in preheated oven at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Once the cake is baked, use cake cutter to slice it into three equal layers.
  9. Add Rasmalai milk, Rasmalai pieces, and frosting between each layer.
  10. Cover the entire cake with frosting, and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  11. Decorate with Rasmalai pieces on the top.
  12. Garnish it with sliced pistachios, dry rose petals, and saffron.
